According to the list released by Forbes on monday, Alhaji Aliko Dangota, has moved up from 76th position in 2012 to 43rd position in 2013 as the richest man in the world. Dangota and Mike Adenuga Globalcom chairman were the only Nigerians on the forbes list. With a net worth of $16.1 Billion as of
March 2013, Dangote is still the richest man in Africa. While Mike Adenuga ranked 269 on the Forbe list with a net worth $4.7 Billion.
